Can one person change your life?

Can one person irritate you so much that you decide against taking an action?

I bring this up because recently I over-heard a few people saying that they won’t go to the U.S. because of President Trump. The first thing that came to my mind was how short-sighted these people were. They were going to let one person change their life.

As much as I hate the word, these people were acting intolerant. This means that they were not open-minded of views, beliefs, or behavior that differs from one’s own.

This is a sad situation for anyone isn’t it?

Has this intolerance crept into your life?

What can you do to change it?

  1. This is a direct result of the anti Trump bias by the main stream media. Like him or hate him, Trump is the President of our large, powerful, neighbouring country. As the leader of our biggest trading partner, he should be accorded the respect his office deserves.

Ask Trump criticisers why they dislike him and they will trot out a story from the mainstream media about something he is alleged to have said or done. To them the facts are unimportant, the story must be believed.

It seems that many Canadians take pleasure in mocking America and things American. We should remember that if it were not for the USA being as powerful as it is and has been for a century, we may well have become another Russian province.

As bad as Jinny Carter was as a president – remember the Iran hostage crisis – he was still treated with respect.

But of course he was a liberal, an appeaser and the darling of the left leaning media.
