Advantages to disadvantages?
Are you concerned about this question?
In order for me to help you I’ll start off with my understanding of what a disadvantage is. It is something that causes difficulty. So you might be asking; how could something that causes difficulty become an advantage?
Let me give you a few examples of people who have overcome disadvantages to become successful in their own way;
- Richard Branson was born dyslexic
- Albert Einstein was also affected by dyslexia
- Stevie Wonder was born blind
- Helen Keller was born blind and deaf
You may be saying that was them but you don’t know me. I know one thing for certain. It is that if you doubt whether you can take advantage of your disadvantages you are asking yourself the wrong question. What can you do to change your mind-set? I would suggest asking your self the following questions;
- What can I do to have an uplifting impact on the life I am living?
- What can I do to create and live a passionate purpose for my life?
- What can I do to help those close to me to understand that life is more than money?
Please remember that all the gold in the world will not fill up an empty heart.
Do you see how this could lead you to moving from your so-called disadvantages into advantages?
