Are you fully engaged in the task at hand?
Are you giving all your attention to what you need to do right now?
The above questions may seem weird, but what I am getting at is when you are reading this blog post, are you thinking about the words and phrases I use or are you thinking about what you are going to eat at your next meal?
If you are thinking about something, anything else than what you are doing at the present moment you are destroying the opportunity to be all that you can be with the task that you are supposed to be working on at the moment.
We are a people that think we can ‘multi-task’ and do both things perfect. We need to wake up from this fallacy. It is a fallacy because you can’t give anything full attention if your mind or your thoughts are on something else. Let me give you an example. Why don’t you pick up a ball and try to throw it up and catch it numerous times while you are watching your favorite TV show. It is not humanly possible.
What can you do today that will help create a laser-like focus on your present moment actitivty?
