Are you leveraging for your benefit?
Do you understand what leveraging is?
Leveraging to me is using something to the greatest benefit. Right off the bat when I typed out ‘using something’ it appears that this is an all-take proposition. No, that is not what I mean. Let me give you an example. Many people have gone into a car dealership to look at new vehicles. A large number of these car lookers have left with a brand new car. This could be surprising as many could not afford to pay for that car in cash. To ‘buy’ the car, these buyers borrowed the money from either a financial institution or the car dealerships finance company. Then the money was given to the car dealer in exchange for the vehicle. This is a form of leveraging.
But there are other types of leveraging. For example;
- Time
- Connections
- Talent
- Skills
- Education
My question to you is; how can you leverage your time, connections, talent, skills or education to improve your situation today?
