Do get upset due to others actions?
Are you concerned about the inaction of many men when it comes to their children?
Are you saying; what does this have to do with being resilience?
Well this blog is a very important one in this area, so let me tell you why.
Recently I came across two separate incidences on my vacation that the Father’s had lost their way. Yes, I am trying to be nice when I use those words. What had happened was that the so called Father’s have decided that their interests were more important than their children. One of the comments from a younger child included that their Father was more interested in spending time with the television than them. What does that say about the relationship this ‘Father’ will have long-term with his child?
Now let me get to the resilient part of this situation. The extended families of these children need to step up to the plate and help these children understand that there are people around them that love them deeply. This can be done mainly by actions. I say that because I’ve found that words are too easy to roll off of your tongue. It is that actions speak louder than words.
They have to show than that no matter how tough life gets that there are always people that will be there to support them.
Do you know of an incident that is like this?
What actions can you do to help these young people?
