Do you isolate when unhappy?
This is a fairly common response to feeling upset with a situation, people or a person, isn’t it?
Sadly, this is the worst thing you can do according to research. Yes, the idea that you are going to avoid being hurt again is the easy way out, but not a good choice.
So what should you do?
Getting out into the public is the best first step. As I’ve written before, offering your assistance to others will take you out of your unhappy feeling. That is, if you don’t moan and groan about your unhappy situation.
Why do I say that?
It is because there are always less fortunate people than you, people that have ‘real’ challenges. It doesn’t take much research to find them.
