How do you react to pressure?

Are you shaken up or do you view the pressure as a way to motivate you to become a better person?

The reason for this blog is very simple. It is because I’ve gotten tired of hearing in the news that ‘the victim was shaken up’. Have we lost the ability to look at the challenges of life without crumbling or being shaken up?

I have great concern over people who are having trouble accepting that bad things can happen to them. Were they raised in a bubble? Were they over-protected as a young person?

No matter what the situation was, they appear to need help. And it is not more pampering or over-protection. What they need is a reality check. Yes, they need to be told that their life is not perfect and never will be perfect. They need to understand that they were given great gifts at conception and can improve their lives by taking optimistic action in their ‘darkest’ times. In fact every time they do this, they will grow a little more and become a more fully developed person.

Isn’t that the type of person we all want to be?
