How’s your life been so far?
You didn’t say ‘fine’ did you?
I believe the word ‘fine’ is a bad word to describe how your life is. I’ll tell you the reason why I don’t like the word ‘fine’. It is because ‘fine’ is a type of sandpaper, as compared to extra coarse, coarse or medium. Fine to me is a word that describes nothing. To me there are so many other words you can use that are far more descriptive.
Why do I bring this up? It is because the words we use have a great impact on the way we live our lives. For example think about a teenager who just had a break-up. They can spend hours in their room and when you talk to them they are ‘devastated’. If that is devastation, how are they going to handle anything really challenging in their lives?
