Is this the calm before the storm?
Is that the attitude you carry with you during good times?
If you are in this mode, read on!
I understand that in business we need to be aware of the unpredictability of the economy, the prospective customers and regular clients. But if you are carrying the attitude of the ‘calm before the storm’ you are stressing yourself out for no good reason. Of course one of you reading this is saying, ‘But, you don’t know my business.’ I may not know your business but I understand what this stress and pressure you are putting on yourself is doing to you.
What would I suggest? I would suggest that you;
• Step away from the scene for an hour or so (go for a walk and just enjoy the scenery)
• Talk to someone who understands the ups and downs of business and above all are encouraging thinkers.
• Take an extra day off this week and do something that is not business related.
Can you see how these actions will help you re-group?
