What do leaders do?

Do they manage the organizations business or do they think and talk about solutions?

After all these years in speaking to business leaders, I know without a doubt that leaders think and talk about solutions. Why I say that is because a leader is always interested in improvement – they hate the status quo. They know that they are in the position they are in because people saw in them a ‘reach for the starts’ attitude.

With a reach for the stars attitude a person is never satisfied with what took place before. They know that a small adjustment can be made to help the organization grow and improve.
