What does your language tell others?

Does it say you are honest or are you hiding the truth?

I bring this up because I witnessed the most atrocious use of language a while back that still bothers me today. A Judge asked the accused if she had pushed the person. The accused stated; ‘I didn’t push her, I replaced her location.’ Now just consider what she said. She just used her words to massage what she did so that she would appear better. But at the same time – she lied.

Do you have a tendency to use your words to make yourself look better?
