What is the bottom-line for you?
Did you think I was talking about money?
The answer is no! What I am talking about is what will it take to get you to take action? This is action that is long-term, consistent and does not know how to give up.
Recently I came across an article that spoke about the only way to get yourself to move towards achieving your yearly goal is to put your mind where your money is. In other words make a financial commitment in advance so you have to pay off this financial commitment by working harder.
I’ve thought about this and have come to the conclusion that the idea is solid, but may not work for all people. Why do I say that? It is because people motivate differently. My suggestion is to look deeper into what motivates you to take any action. Is it to provide for your family? Or is it because you want to look good for your boss or those you serve? Or is it some other way that gives you a driven focus?
Now focus on that driving force in your life. By doing this it will drive you to work a little longer and to be more focused, won’t it?
Is today a good day to start?
