What mistake can lead to failure?

Are you thinking, is there only one mistake that leads to failure?

No! We humans manage to find many ways to fail.

In order for me to explain, let’s look at a real-life example. Experts say that the former CEO of BlackBerry, Thorsten Heins made one, crucial mistake in his effort to bring back the company from the depths of despair. That being that he didn’t prioritize or understand what BlackBerry’s core business was. He instead tried to replicate the mass consumer success of Apple and Google’s Android system.

There is a great lesson for all of us in this. It is that if you ignore your strength or don’t focus on improving your strengths it can lead to failure. I was told many years ago that if I wanted to be a success I needed to be either first in my area of distinction or stick to what I had became known for.

So my question for you is; what do you do best and how can you improve upon it and promote it better?
