Would you like a recipe for meaningful marketing?
Would you like standout from your competition?
Recently I read a post titled ‘A Recipe for More Meaningful Marketing’ written by Clara Engel of Business Voice in Toledo Ohio. She described how she had watched a food show and chef Bobby Flay challenged the participating chefs to describe their food without ever using the word ‘delicious’. Now that is a very difficult task, isn’t it?
Why is it so difficult? It is because the taste of food is very subjective. Taste is in the mouth of the eater (poor joke). It is the same way for you, your business and whatever you sell to others. Everything that we experience is very subjective. Remember the word subjective means that it is based on our personal feelings, tastes, or opinions.
So I have an assignment for you.
How can you describe what you do or how you help people without ever using the ‘usual’ way your product or service has been described for years?
Can you see how this exercise can lead to a breakthrough in the way people look at you and your business?
