How do view the challenges in life?

Have you ever been told to get a better perspective?

I bring this up due to the extra-ordinary amount of focus we have in the sports arena. Back in April a golfer by the name of Jordan Speith did not have a good final round of golf at the Masters in Georgia. The broadcasters were what I’d call ‘over-the-top’ in the comments about how devastating it was and wondered if this golfer would ever be able to come-back after his so called ‘collapse’.

To to give you some perspective on this issue Mr. Speith tied for 2nd place and won $880,000 dollars. In my opinion that is not too bad of a payout for his ‘collapse’. Speith’s caddie Michael Greller wrote a very insightful blog after the Master’s. In it he stated that loss ‘stung’. He asked the public not to feel sorry for him or Speith. Then he said that they won’t get stuck in this moment, nor should the public. Even more impressive was that he stated that “this isn’t life and death stuff. There are far greater struggles that exist in this world than not winning The Masters. We are beyond blessed to do what we do.”

Give us some perspective doesn’t it?

How can you take what he said into your life, and live it?
