Are procrastinators lazy?
Or do procrastinators just have ineffective goals?
I know that when you set goals that don’t inspire you, it is very hard to become motivated to take action. Thus you look like you are procrastinating.
I believe that no one is born a procrastinator, we just become one. Procrastination is a habit that can be changed. For example, in late December of last year you realized that you had gained weight do to over-indulging over the festive season. You make a resolution that you are going to go to the gym starting the beginning of January. You get to January 1st and you are motivated, by January 15th things have changed, as you are not going to the gym as often as you had planned. By January 30th the excuses start building up and in February you are only going to the gym sporadically. By March 1st you don’t even think about the gym – you’ve become a procrastinator.
