Are there some days that you feel like giving up?

All that this proves is that things are not happening as quick as you’d like, isn’t it?

This is a challenge for all of us. The issue is our ego! We have to control our ego with the realization that ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’. In other words we need to have resilience and perseverance in order to achieve our goals. Knowing that it is a long-term goal can put you at ease.

Resilience is the ability to recover quickly from misfortune, illness or change. Perseverance is steady persistence in spite of difficulties.

Remember what Colin Powell (a retired four-star general in the United States Army) said; “Don’t let your ego get too close to your position, so that if your position gets shot down, your ego doesn’t go with it.”

What are some ways that you can take you ego out of the purpose and life goals you have?
