Are you giving people a great first impression?

Did you know that a great first impression is different for every one that you meet?

I am a very outgoing person who really enjoys being around people. In fact I would consider being with people a great natural high. Sadly for me when I am with people my enthusiasm can hurt making a good first impression.

Over the years I’ve come to realize and see that there are 3 main types of people. There are visual, auditory and kinesthetic people. Visual people are always talking in pictures and speak very fast. Auditory people have very resonant voices and speak in terms of hearing. Kinesthetic people are really into their feelings, in fact when you tell them a story that is challenging for you they almost feel your pain.

So why did I tell you this?

It is to make you aware of that when you are meeting someone for the first time you need to be aware of where they are in terms of being visual, auditory or kinesthetic. By doing this you will enhance your opportunity to make a great impression.

Does this make sense?
