Are you the type of person that has lots of ideas?

What do you do after you’ve come up with these wonderful ideas?

It is the step after you’ve got an idea that is the most important. This is because if you don’t do anything about your ideas, you become a failure. Yes, pretty harsh words from me, aren’t they? I know I don’t know you, but I know how at times I’ve had wonderful ideas, but then my self doubt took over my thoughts and I let the idea die.

How did I feel? First of all, I made all the excuses to help me buy in to my self doubt. Then later I realized that those excuses were going to ruin my life if I kept on letting them run my life.

So how do you overcome the self doubt and excuses? You need to develop discipline. To me discipline is a behavior in accord with rules of conduct. So in order to get to that disciple you need to develop some rules of conduct. One example would be that when you get an idea you develop a plan to take action on it. I would also suggest that you work on it for at least two weeks to see if the idea is worthwhile.

Can you see how this will help you move forward from idea to action?

Are you going to use it?
