Are your thoughts your friends or your foes?

Or do you give much recognition to your thoughts.

I was once told that we need to take care about what we think, as we become what our thoughts are.

Consider the movie ‘The Shawshank Redemption’. It is about how two men viewed long-term captivity in a state prison. One character ‘Red’ let the prison experience grow into it what was the only life he knew. The other character ‘Andy’ viewed it as a temporary experience and put a plan together to make it as temporary as he could.

It is the same with us and our thoughts of the experiences we have. One might view the experience as devastating. The other person will view it as a temporary experience that can be used to strengthen him or her for the next phase in life.

What can you do today to make your thoughts your friends?

Can you imagine how much more enjoyable your life will become?
