Why don’t you make it a game?

Are you thinking; ‘This is business no games in this business!’ Well thinking like that is probably hurting your business. If you can’t have fun at work what type of a life are you having?

Remember that work is 1/3 of your day or 8 hours. If you are saying that there should be no fun at your business you are destroying your staff and they aren’t going to be as productive as they could be.

So how do you make the things you are doing into a game? Be a little creative by looking at what you are doing now and then add some ideas to make it fun. Let me give you an example that occurred a couple of weeks ago. I had the opportunity to work with about 30 young people to fill event bags for a best selling author and speaker. After less than 5 minutes one of the young people said, ‘Let’s make this fun!’ Then he said that they would be two teams and have a competition on who could get the most bags completed. This created a fun competition and the results were fantastic.

If a group of young people could have fun with this activity, what could you do in your business?

Doesn’t it make sense to create in-house games to improve the morale of you and your staff?
