Do you hire smart?

In other words do you hire people that you expect to grow with you and your organization?

 

I believe it is so important to hire people that are ‘go getters’. ‘Go getters’ to me are people that are eager to work and eager to learn, thus eager to grow. Yes, I will admit that they can drive you a bit crazy as they really don’t like to be managed. They like to be told what to do and then go and do it. Once they understand what to do they like to put their own personal touches on it, to improve it.

 

Now if you don’t like to hire people like this it speaks loudly about they way you want your organization to run, doesn’t it? It is saying loud and clear that it is your way or the highway. You are saying that you don’t want someone else to come up with new and inventive ideas to make your organization better.
