Have you ever had a business person not return your call?

Did that frustrate you?

Recently I tried to get some work done by a lawn and yard company. I’ve known the owner for about 2 years. He is a friendly person and appears to be good in business. Those were my thoughts until today.

Over the past week I’ve book two times for him to come to my home to discuss what I wanted to get done. Both times he did not arrive and did not call stating that he would be unavailable.

There is a great thing about this. It is that I can go to one of his competitors with a clear conscience. That is because I know that I did all I could to give him my business.

Do you see that I had a choice. I could have got upset thinking ‘How could he do that to me?’ But I chose a different way.

Isn’t life wonderful when you look at the events in a way that doesn’t wear you down?
