Have you ever thought of how productive you are?

This is something we should all think about, isn’t it?

If you take great pride in your work, you will be always thinking about becoming more productive. If you are only at work to earn a living you couldn’t care.

For those of you that do care, review the following unproductive actions that occur at many work places;

  • Staying late – if you can’t get all your work done in a reasonable amount of time in the day you need to re-think your work ethic. You need to focus during your work time and not get trapped into the trivial.
  • Not using a priority list – if you don’t use this you will find you are running around putting out fires and not attending to what was needed to be done.
  • Personal social media – the key to remember is that when you are at work it is work not personal time.
  • Trying to solve the problems by yourself – by not reaching out to others you tend to isolate yourself from the rest of the group at time when the saying ‘two heads are better than one’ could solve your problem quicker.

What can you do today to eliminate one of the above unproductive actions from your life?
