If you recorded what you say to people would you be happy?

Are you using the acceptable and understandable words when you speak to people?

This issue came up the other day. I was speaking to a mature business person. I had asked him a couple of questions, then he appeared to get upset and said; “It’s going to be hard for you to be able to understand this.” My response was that he did not even know me and by making a statement like that it said more about him than it did about me.

Needless to say I was not happy about what had taken place, and kept trying to give him the opportunity to explain what I he was offering. It appears that my original thought was right as he never was able to explain how he could help me.

What can you do today that will help explain how what you do will help prospective clients?
