Is making money the purpose of your business?

I hope not, but let me explain.

The purpose of a business is a description of why you do what you do. If you think that making money is your purpose you are mistaken. I write that because money or profit is the result of the why, what and how you do your business. The ‘why’ of your business is the belief you have for doing what you do.

As Henry Ford said; ‘A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business.’

You will be amazed at the results you can achieve by focusing and talking about your ‘why’ for being in business.
