Is your life full of interruptions and stress?
Welcome to today’s world, but you don’t have to accept life as it is, do you?
So how do you take more control of your life? Number 1, is get your priorities straight. As I’ve said before, you can’t be everything to everybody. Once you understand what your priorities are, it is so easy to say no to others demands, if they don’t fit in with your priorities.
What are the benefits of getting your priorities straight? First of all you will be more organized and ready to work on the most important activities in your life. Secondly you will have an unmatched grace. This ‘grace’ is all about how you will be calm and more at ease with others and thus you will be a joy to be around.
Now isn’t this something that you would enjoy?
When are you going to take action to move your life to a phase that is more enjoyable?
Tim, your use of the word “grace” is interesting. It is normally associated with elderly people, sometimes in parallel with “serenity”.
It took me too big a part of my lifetime to realise that we can attain that grace and be serene at any age.
Now that I am almost elderly myself, I can look back and understand that if I had said “no” more frequently in my younger days, I would have reached those states that much quicker.
With the benefit of hindsight and experience it seems easy.
Peter, a wonderful comment!
