The 4 Actions to Improve All of Your Life

If you are reading this it is for one of two reasons. Number 1 you were intrigued by the title or you really want to improve your life.

I state that because it has been said that 9-word titles are the greatest attention getters in marketing. Or you really want to improve your life. If you are of the second group, I’ve got an interesting solution for you (if you read to the end).

First of all, I believe that all of us don’t like to feel judged. And yet it is the one thing that we do most often in life. And for your information the judging I am talking about is whether we do a particular job right, or treated someone properly.

And yes of course we feel compassion for others when they are going through tough times. Many people will consider that a form of judgement, but I don’t. This is because we humans were born as social beings. In other words, we form connections with others and if the connection is deep enough, we care about their situation in life. Thus, our compassion shows.

Let me give you my favorite example. You have a younger child and he or she wants to go to the corner store by themselves. You want to give them some freedom so that they can grow and become the person they want to be, and yet you are concerned due to many of the news stories about abductions. So, what do you do? You speak them about your concern, you ask them some questions to get them thinking about being safe, then you let your child leave the home to go to the corner store. And of course, you are concerned enough that you follow your child sneakily so they don’t see you, to make sure they are unharmed in their adventure. And you have helped them mature and grow as a person.

Now getting back to the topic at hand; that is ‘The 4 Actions to Improve All of Your Life’;

  1. Get honest with yourself. That is because without honesty you will never admit to the areas of your life that are not working as you want them to.
  2. Ask yourself some hard questions. That meaning the type of questions that cause you to squirm when you look at them. In other words, you know that the question will cause you to dig deep in finding answers to.
  3. Take action on what you’ve discovered.
  4. Review how things are going at least one time each week. And when things could be improved – take action.

To conclude, if you find that this process is not working for you, there is a better solution. You need a person to hold you accountable to keep you focused and honest about your progress.
