Has it been worth it?

Whenever I use the word ‘worth’ I am a little cautious of its use. I am cautious because the word ‘worth’ means a lot of different things to different people. For example worth can mean a form of value or merit or significance.

Let’s look at the word ‘merit’ and the definition behind it meaning deserve or warrant, as in deserve your time. I’ve got a question for you; how much time have you invested on the trivial in the past week? Has it been a worthwhile use of your time?
