What are your priorities?

Have you written them down?

Mahatma Gandhi once said “Action expresses priorities.” I agree with that because every action you take tells the world what is most important for you. For example let’s say you spend 45 minutes of each day checking your personal e-mails at work. What you are saying is that my personal priorities are more important than the money that my business is paying me for doing the job I should be doing.

Am I without a blemish when it comes to this? Of course not. The challenge for me is that I pay myself. What I do by checking my personal e-mails at work is make my day longer and I am not as effective as I could have been.

As Denis Waitley said; “Don’t be a time manager, be a priority manager. Cut your major goals into bite-sized pieces. Each small priority or requirement on the way to ultimate goal become a mini goal in itself.”

What is your main priority for today?

What actions can you take to show that it is your priority?
