What habits are hurting you?

In other words; what habits are getting in your way, stumbling blocks to you becoming a better person?

I write this blog about habits because I’ve seen myself and others get into living unconsciously and doing the same thing habits over and over again.

While at time times habits can be very helpful, there are many more times that these habits become patterns and ruin areas of your life. Let me give you a few examples;

  • You are in a long-term relationship. You are happy but you’ve noticed that the ‘spark’ between the two of you is not what it used to be. The habit or pattern that could be that you’ve started to take this relationship for granted. You’ve formed a pattern of complacency.
  • You’ve been calling on a business for years and they have never bought anything from you. The habit or pattern that could be happening is you act the same, you say the same words and phrases, and you’ve become boring to the prospective client. Again you’ve formed the pattern of complacency.
