Can you be irrational?
Have you ever wanted something and then settled for something else?
Isn’t that irrational?
Let’s go to the definition. What I’ve come across is that irrational means not able to use reason or good judgment. So that brings up a question; if you wanted to exercise in order to lose 10 pounds and settled for sitting in front of your T.V. while drinking beer, were you irrational or just not focused?
There is no doubt in my mind that you were not focused on your goal of losing 10 pounds. But if you go back to the definition you did not use reason or good judgment, so your act was irrational.
When you set a goal the next time, what can you do to get more focused and become more rational in your actions?
